The Sound Garden Family
Joa Saunders - Founder
Joa’s journey with sound began in childhood, when she began exploring recorded sound and fell in love with the profound ability of sound to tell stories, evoke emotion, and connect us beyond words. For over two decades, she worked as a professional sound designer, creating projects for major channels including the BBC, Channel 4, and Discovery, as well as for theatre, including an immersive promenade sound experience at London’s Hayward Gallery on the Southbank.
Drawn to the mysteries beyond the veil, Joa comes from a lineage deeply attuned to the unseen world. After more than a decade devoted to Hermetic meditation practices, she discovered sound healing, the perfect union of her two great loves: sound and spiritual transformation.
Trained in Hypnotherapy, IEMT, Reiki, Parts Therapy, and Healing Dance, Joa weaves these modalities into her sessions to guide others toward healing, wholeness, and self-realisation. Her studies in Sacred Geometry have profoundly deepened her understanding of the interconnectedness of all life, shaping both her teachings and her sound work. She is Co-Founder of Temple of Resonance and passionate about inspiring others to awaken their inner power and remember their innate connection to the higher planes of existence.
Lucy Agace - Director
Lucy is a compassionate person with her heart deeply routed in nature and understands how nature offers peace, connection, and nourishment for the mind, body and soul. Her love of nature stems from a childhood spent outdoors, and her spiritual journey also began then with her granny.
Meeting a gifted psychic and healer inspired Lucy to develop her spiritual healing abilities through Reiki and hands on healing, while learning to trust in her spirit helpers. The guiding hand of a Shamanic Practitioner further expanded her understanding of the spiritual realm.
Her healing path deepened when a family member faced a life-changing diagnosis. Stepping gracefully into her next chapter, Lucy trained as a professional healer, specialising in Indian Head Massage. She has witnessed firsthand how this ancient Ayurvedic practice can melt away stress, release tension, improve blood circulation, and support the lymphatic system.
Lucy believes that everyone holds dreams within them — dreams that matter. Her hope is to help others ignite, build, and create the dreams that will help them fly.
“The rich tapestry of life has been kind to me and I am so grateful to be here to share my gifts with you.
Siobhan Swider - Sound & Crystal Healing Teacher, Yoga Practitioner, Co-Founder of Temple of Resonance
Siobhan is a sound practitioner and musician whose journey began with the harp, an instrument that opened her heart to the transformative power of vibration.
Trained in classical music in both the USA and London, she toured internationally with various ensembles, performing at world-renowned venues including the Royal Albert Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and the Hollywood Bowl.
Over time, her musical path deepened into a spiritual one. Alongside her sound work, Siobhan has trained extensively in yoga and crystal healing, exploring the subtle connections between body, breath, and frequency. She now shares her experience as a teacher with the Sound Healing Academy, where she guides others in the art and science of vibrational healing.
Guided by mentors including Ashana and Yantara Jiro, Siobhan weaves together sound, sacred geometry, yoga, and ancient mystic practices into a field of harmony and remembrance. Through her sessions and teachings, she invites others to awaken to their own inner resonance — where sound becomes light, and vibration becomes a pathway back to Source.
Rachel Turner - Yoga Teacher & Sound Healer
Rachel is a local yoga teacher and sound healer. Her favourite part of a class is the moment of stillness at the end, when the energy in the room feels unified and everyone has moved through a shared experience.
Having personally experienced the transformational benefits of yoga for physical, mental, and spiritual healing, she is passionate about sharing this with others and guiding them on their own journey.
At the Sound Garden, she shares Yin Yoga and Sound healing alongside Joa, which is always a magical evening, especially when Rachel shares her beautiful voice, chanting to the beat of the drum.
Miriam Pfeil - Naturopathic Nutritionist, Reiki Master, and Intuitive Psychic Healer
Miriam is devoted to guiding you back to balance in body, mind, and spirit. Her work blends science with soul, helping you reconnect with your body’s innate wisdom and the quiet knowing that true healing begins from within.
Through gentle guidance, compassionate listening, and intuitive insight, she creates spaces where transformation feels safe, nurturing, and deeply empowering.
Her approach invites you to slow down, tune in, and rediscover the vitality and joy that have always been yours. “It is my mission in life to re-ignite your inner light, inspire and nourish you on every level — physically, emotionally, and spiritually — so you can return home feeling lighter, clearer, and more aligned with who you truly are”.
Miriam runs monthly Psychic Development Workshops/Circles in the Yurt, usually held on the third Wednesday of each month. These evenings are dedicated to exploring the depths and development of your intuitive sight and spiritual gifts. Together, we delve into topics such as: Understanding and strengthening the different Clairs (Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience, etc.) Mediumship and connection with spiritual beings.
Ryen Teague - Personal Trainer & Sound Healer
Ryen is a Personal Trainer who believes in supporting both the body and the inner self. Fitness played a huge role in rebuilding his confidence and strength after a difficult period in his life, and that experience shaped the way he now works with others. He understands how powerful movement can be when it comes to grounding yourself, finding direction, and feeling stronger inside and out.
Ryen also grew up around spiritualism, and stepping into sound healing feels like a natural extension of that part of his life. He believes sound has a unique ability to clear energy that no longer serves us, open the heart, calm the mind, and help us reconnect with who we truly are. It’s something he has become passionate about, and he’s excited to share its benefits with others.
As his own journey has unfolded, Ryen now aims to help others in a deeper and more meaningful way by blending movement and sound to support people physically, mentally, and spiritually. He sees both practices as beautifully complementary—one strengthens and grounds, the other opens and softens. Together, they create balance, clarity, and a greater sense of alignment.
